Field Operations Management:
• Supervise day-to-day field operations, including work scheduling, task assignments, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that all field activities are carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor field work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage field crews, providing direction, support, and training as needed.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure team alignment with project goals.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all field personnel.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all team members are properly trained on safety practices and equipment use.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies.
Quality Assurance:
• Inspect work sites regularly to ensure quality control standards are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
• Work with project managers and quality control teams to implement corrective actions and improve processes as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities, inspections, and quality assurance measures.
Communication and Coordination:
• Serve as the primary liaison between field teams and management, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to align field activities with project objectives.
• Report on field progress, challenges, and opportunities to management, providing recommendations for improvement.
Resource Management:
• Manage the allocation and use of tools, equipment, and materials on-site to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of necessary resources.
• Monitor and control expenses related to field operations, ensuring adherence to project budgets.
Problem Solving:
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during field operations, including technical challenges, personnel conflicts, and unforeseen obstacles.
• Implement solutions quickly and effectively to minimize disruptions and keep projects on track.
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within field operations, construction, or a related industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects in the field.
